Chief Nursing Officer (CNO)
Salary: $170,000 – $180,000 (max based on experience) + Quarterly Bonus Potential
This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for an experienced nursing executive ready to take ownership of clinical operations within a 100-bed hospital with an average daily census of 70. You'll play a key role in driving patient care outcomes, operational performance, and team stability.
What You'll Do
- Provide strategic and operational oversight for all nursing services
- Lead clinical teams to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care
- Drive performance improvement, staffing optimization, and regulatory compliance
- Partner with executive leadership to support hospital growth and operational goals
- Oversee key support functions while coordinating with outsourced services (dialysis, lab, respiratory)
Leadership Scope
- Direct oversight of 6 leaders, including Nurse Manager, Educator, Infection Prevention, Wound Care, Program Coordinator, and Admin/Scheduling
- Indirect oversight of nursing supervisors and frontline staff
What You Bring
- RN required
- 5+ years of hospital experience with at least 2+ years in nursing leadership (Director level or above preferred)
- Open to diverse clinical leadership backgrounds with strong operational experience
- Proven ability to lead teams, improve outcomes, and drive accountability
